Your generous contribution supports:

  • The most comprehensive online directory of arts programs serving system-involved people
  • Workshops and weekly gatherings that provide members of our community with learning opportunities, new connections, and sources of inspiration to fuel their creativity
  • Letter correspondence programs fostering meaningful connections between artists impacted by the carceral system those working at the intersection of art and justice
  • In-person exhibitions, online galleries and ArtLinks events showcasing the work of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated artists in our network
  • The acquisition of a home base, providing a workspace for our team, a place to store and exhibit hundreds of pieces of artwork entrusted to us by artists in JAC’s network, and income-generating opportunities for artists

“It means a lot knowing there are extraordinary people out there who haven’t cast a blind eye to us behind bars.”
