We, The Unbound

Like the Belgian painter René Magritte, we too wanted our imagination to transcend reality. So, we transformed a two-story prison wall into a portal. We said yes to eyes and trees, water, windows, and open doors. We said no to locks and cinderblock, keys, and chains. Who’s to say that jellyfish can’t traverse sea and air, and why can’t we move all things from dark into light? When tears inevitably fall, they nurture growth. And ceilings? Walls? They are just part of the universe.
As are we all. We, who are unbound.
