Desert Scenes

“My first thought when envisioning “Desert Scenes” was to create an image that portrayed life blooming and thriving in a very desolate place like this desert. I wanted to show that life can and does spring from the seemingly lifeless, crusty earth. Birth in barrenness, beauty in bleakness. The lizard is the resilience of life, the cacti are the perseverance and endurance to stand strong. The sunset is the relief from the unrelenting pressures of life, allowing me to take a break and see things in a different light.”
