As we enter the new year, we wanted to highlight what is important to the artists within JAC’s network. You’ll find that January’s Gallery of the Month Collection features different sources of inspiration, ranging from birds, to self-portraits, to family and friends.
“Though my subject matter may be diverse, each of my paintings has been of a person, a scene, and an animal or an object which has pulled on the strings of my heart in some way. Whether that is by eliciting a nostalgic longing, portraying an oft-felt emotion or simply evoking awe in its beauty, they all somehow represent me.”

Whether it be recurring themes within artwork, influential loved ones and icons, or simply something that sparks the desire to create, it is important that we showcase that which is most important to the artists JAC works with. In the gallery below, we’ve curated a body of work which speaks to each of the featured artists’ personal interests and themes. Work which reflects topics and imagery each artist has individually explored and continually revisited throughout their practice.
